Sacks

The Sacks series was conceived in the mid-1970s as a formal reworking of a personal event.

Transparent containers of liquids, suspended, over the years, the Sacks have maintained their formal design.

The transparency of the container exposes the quality of the liquids, and testifies to the themes of the artist's research: water, as a vital resource; environmental protection, as a critique; pictorial research, as action; suspension, as a reflective posture.
