The MARIANGELO CAZZANIGA Archive originates from curator Alice Cazzaniga's desire to catalogue and give a unified coherence to the work and life of artist Mariangelo Cazzaniga in its various manifestations. It is the result of research, recovery, and analysis of the artist's bibliographic and iconographic material, as well as biographical reconstruction, through interviews and direct conversations initiated by the curator.
The website mariangelocazzaniga.com is curated and managed by Alice Cazzaniga and is conceived as the digital space reflecting and fostering the understanding of the archive and the artist's figure. It includes a partial iconographic documentation of the artist's work as well as historical and archival photos. The website's texts and design are respectively written and curated by Alice Cazzaniga, under the supervision of the artist.
